A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.

Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person. Find out how health coaching stacks up against other health and wellness jobs.

Chai Tea Latte

Prep Time

15 minutes

Cooking Time

Yields

2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 organic chai tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup organic unsweetened vanilla nut based milk of choice (we recommend "Malk" organics)
  • 10 drops of vanilla crème liquid stevia
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • Optional: ground nutmeg

Directions

  • Boil 1 cup of water.  Steep the chai tea bags for 5-7 minutes.  Add cinnamon, ginger and allspice, blend together with chai tea and cover.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the milk, vanilla and stevia. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through and everything is dissolved.  If you have a portable frother, you may also froth the milk.  Pour milk mixture into mugs; stir in tea. If desired, sprinkle with nutmeg.

Notes

The key to making a wonderful chai tea, is finding a good cream based nut milk.  One of our favorite nut milks we recommend can be found at Kroger, Natural Grocers, Sprouts and Whole Foods.  It is called "Malk Organics".  This nut milk is very creamy and froths easily making a delicious chai tea. ~ Jessica
